Happy Mother's Day

Sunday morning started off wonderfully, it was a beautiful day and I was up on time and getting ready for church. Down came the girls with my Mother's Day gift that Mark allowed them to pick out on their own with no help from him. Reagan gave me the card, which was wonderfully worded and signed with love from Taylor and Reagan. Taylor gave me my gift a beautiful gold bracelet (my kids have a great fashion sense). Then, Mark handed me a card. So, I opened the card and started reading the front. Some beautiful words about how wonderful a wife I was and how much he loved me, so on and so forth. I then open the card and started to read what personal message he had come up with himself. I started laughing hysterically. Mark looked at me with a crazy face and said "what possibly could be that funny". I proceeded to read to him what he had wrote. "You are the best mother a man could want!" He too started laughing. I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard. I told him I didn't realize that he thought of me as his mother. He then said that he had just prepared the card that morning (around 7:30 a.m.) and must have still been tired. What he had meant to write was "I was the best mother a man could want for his children" (which obviously sounds much better). Late that night as we lay in bed, Mark turned over and told me that he loved me. To which I responded "I love you too - SON!" Moral of the story - don't write a personal message to someone first thing in the morning!!!!!!!

I laughed just as hard reading it this time as I did the first! It's hilarious! I told Jake about it and he laughed too!
