The Heart of a Child

Let me preface this post with a little information about my daughter, Taylor. She is 5 years old and will be going into Kindergarten in the fall. Before she goes to Kindergarten she has to have her 5 year old shots. There are total of 4 shots and they either give them to you in the arm/leg/or behind (I pray that it is not in the behind for her sake and mine).
Okay, now I will continue on with my story. On Friday morning, we were on our way to my mother's house to go shopping with her. We were stopped for about a minute or so when some construction workers were on the road filling potholes (for which I am grateful). While waiting, Taylor asked me if I thought the workers on the side of the road knew and loved Jesus. I told her that I wasn't sure. She then asked if I thought that they had asked Jesus to come into their heart. I told her that I hoped so, but couldn't be sure. Shen then asked if I thought they knew that Jesus had died on the cross for their sins. To which I answered again, I wasn't sure, but I hoped so. She thought about this for a few seconds, then proceeded to tell me that she was sure that when Jesus died on the cross it hurt worser then her shots are going to hurt. It was everything in my power to hold in the laughter. My heart smiled I'm sure. I love that little squirt and I love all the questions that her little mind comes up with. She's a thinker and I can't wait for the many questions that I'm sure will follow in the coming days/months/years!!!

Whats With My Blog Name?!?!

Okay - so over the past few months I'd been thinking "I need to have a blog for my family". Why, I don't know, it just seems like the thing to do these days. So, I contimplated and decided to plunge forward into the blogging world. However, what should my blog site be called? I thought and thought and thought some more. After much thinking I realized that though I want to do a blog, I'm not creative like some people are (at least when it comes to writing and coming up with clever blog titles). So, I emailed the one person who I knew I could depend on - My Friend Sheri Leeman. She's it - the real stuff - she could for sure help me come up with the best blog title. So, here it is - Yeiter Yo Yo - Living Life With It's Up's and Downs'. Clever huh? That is exactly what I wanted to do, give my friends, who need a good laugh, an insite into my life which is indeed a life of up's and down's. I hope that I won't dissapoint you!!! Thanks Sheri - I owe you one!!!!
